  1. Right now, no asteroid is posing a threat to Earth. And if there was a potential threat, it would be monitored very closely, with emergency plans ready to be implemented.

    Apophis was demoted from 4 on a 10 point scale to 0 as its movement was tracked.

  3. That's obsolete information. There are no asteroids or comets currently predicted to hit the Earth, according to NASA-JPL's Near Earth Object web site:

  4. A YouTube citation. This asteroid has a tiny chance of striking the Earth some time around, far less chance than the slowest racehorse in a field of 15 horses.  Numbers like one chance in 45,000 have been mentioned.  

    The chance of a strike from a known asteroid is somewhat larger in 2880, yes that is 872 years in the future and there many be even greater danger from an asteroid after the year 4500, 2,500 years in the future.
