Last Lunch bagged the Grade A3 480m race event at Sittingbourne
Last Lunch won at last in the Grade A3 race, at about 480 meters, held at Sittingbourne on January 8, 2012. The winner’s five competitors were Hedsor Amelia, Get It Doll, Sign Elise, Westmead Zenobia and Fivestar Cabra.
The protagonist of the race broke from trap 1, and ran exceedingly well. He was lagging in the start, but caught up the front runners and led third soon. With his constant pace, he held on till completing the distance in 29.82 seconds.
Last Lunch grabbed first spot for the 8th time in 480m category. Trained by B Connolly, the dog made his debut on 31 July, 2011. He whelped on May 2008.
Westmead Zenobia fought well and finished second, with a margin of just two 0.2 seconds. After breaking from trap 5, she challenged the leader throughout the race, but weakened in the last few strides.
It was for the 2nd time that the black b***h achieved this spot in this category. She made her debut on 6 February, 2010. Whelped in October 2008, Westmead Zenobia is trained by S Mavrias.
The third place of the event belonged to, Fivestar Cabra, who crossed the wire in 29.96 seconds. The white and black b***h lagged 1 ½ lengths behind, after breaking from trap number 2.
Since her debut on 9 October, 2011, Fivestar Cabra ended up with this position for the third time. Trained by M A Cumner, she was whelped in April 2009.
Get it Doll was the runner, who finished fourth in the race. The b***h broke from trap 4, and ran closer to Fivestar Cabra, completing the distance in 29.98 seconds. She is trained by S Spiers.
Sign Elise finished fifth in the race, after breaking from trap 3, the black and white dog took 30.02 seconds to cover the distance. He was half a length behind Get it Doll. Whelped in December 2008, he is trained by S Mavrias.
The sixth and last finisher was, Hedsor Amelia, who also lagged ½ length. The black b***h reached the finish line in 30.06 seconds, after breaking from trap 6. Her trainer is MA Cumner, the same one who trains Fivestar Cabra.
The winner bagged 1st prize worth of £58. Each of the other five participants earned £23.
