Last Minute Hamster questions???

Question

I am getting a male long haired teddy bear hamster next week. I know alot about them exept for:

- Name! (bubba, Mr.Muffin, Milk,any ideas?)

-Cage in play room (toy room..) or my room?

-cleaning tips?

-Taming tips?

-Homemade toys???

-How to prevent escapeing? (paperclips good locks?)

play room they are noisy at night

don't put hamster in bin!!!!  put it in run ball instead so it gets exercise and don't wake it up or it may bite do it in early evening

let it get to know your smell and voice

toilet tube, kitchen roll tube

paper clips hum yes never heard of that but does sound good :)
