Last minute Transfers and upcoming Transfer predictions - Part 2

Real Madrid to Manchester City: Robinho
Robinho made his move from Los Blancos to ‘The Citizens’ and the Brazilian was happy in moving away from Spain and live life in another city.
Chelsea had been interested in the Brazilian and talks for Robinho’s transfer had already been started. Things were slowly progressing when someone literally messed up the deal, as Chelsea started selling shirts with Robinho’s name on the back and Real Madrid were offended, hence calling off negotiations for the transfer.
This was clearly an insult to the club if you start printing a player’s name on the shirt before they have actually transferred the player. In the mean time Manchester City were taken over by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and as a farewell present Thaksin Shinawatra made the deal for Robinho to play for the Citizens.
It was a 32.5 million pound deal, this deal broke the British record and for a player who two years ago was not even part of the team.

FC Porto to Inter Milan: Ricardo Quaresma
Jose Mourinho was repeatedly demanding for Quaresma as soon as he took over Inter Milan in 2008. The Portuguese boss was sure that this addition would be a great addition to the squad, which will benefit the team in the futute.
Massimo Moratti was unsure about making such an investment but Mourinho forced his way and Quaresma became a part of Inter Milan for a deal of 18.6 million pounds.
The transfer fee was high as the player had been very successful in his homeland and played really well in the domestic leagues.
Mourinho’s short sighted judgement was evident soon enough as Quaresma only made twenty three appearences for the club and the transfer was made only for seven million pounds.

Corinthians to West Ham United: Carlos Tevez
Carlos Tevez’s move to West Ham United was full of deception accompanoed with chaos in the deal; having contract disputes with the presence of foreign owners.
Tevez and Mascherano were linked to almost all the best clubs in England like Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal.
The move of this Argentinean duo seemed inevitable as the team had been spotted by almost everyone. Tevez was desperate to play in the English Premier League and to get this he actually turned down a Brazilian club named Corinthians, as Tevez wanted to move to England.
Tevez’s contract was partly owned by by Kia Joorbachian's Media Sports Investment Company, and the contract he was in had some clauses that they were forcing on the club. Here West Ham United took a gamble and bought the player for twenty million pounds.

Real Madrid to Newcastle United: Michael Owen
Michael Owen’s transfer from ‘Los Blancos’ to Newcastle was definitely a very bizarre thing as he had only transferred to Real Madrid a season before and even though he did not break any records he still had a good season with the club.
When Real Madrid bought Julio Baptista and Robinho in 2005, Michael Owen became worried over the matter of holding his position in the team. The Reds did offer to take their old player back, but Owen wanted to be on the first team of the club no matter where ever he gets signed.
Finally Michael Owne picked Newcastle United as the club where he wanted to go, this was a rather unforeseen move by Owen and it did shock quite a lot of people.
