Last minute Transfers and upcoming Transfer predictions - Part 4

Italy’s Triple Transfer Madness
One of the craziest dates in transfer history in the top leagues has to be August 31, 2002 and this was the day that seems very unlikely to be ever repeated as this day stands as a land mark to how bizarre and hectic leagues can go to secure the players that they want.
The Ronaldo and Real Madrid saga ended on this day, Ronaldo the star Brazilian forward player had said openly in a press conference that he wanted to stay with his old club and always remain a part of Inter Milan.
Talks and negotiations had been going on for some time now but in the end it seemed like talks with Real Madrid had broken down.
Real Madrid issued a statement saying that “negotiations were impossible”
In the final hours before the transfer window closed Ronaldo got moved to Real Madrid for a figure of around twenty eight million pounds, astonishingly this was not the only major Italian deal of the summer as there a few more.
Allesandro was supposed to be moved and rumors were that he would go to AC Milan. Another rumour was that Herman Crespo would go to Nerazzurri and would leave his youth club Lazio and this would be a replacement for Ronaldo leaving the club.
Both rumors about Alessandro and Crespo turned out to be true and both of them moved to their respective new clubs.
These deals were forced on the Romans and brought them nearly to bankruptcy as these were three mega million deals in a single day.
This also resulted in Inter Milan fans queuing countlessly outside the Malpensa airport to question Ronaldo and Lazio; fans actually also thrashed and destroyed the club offices in revolt.

Transfers of 2010
So now as we are almost near the end of this year’s transfer season which has been a very hectic one also, there are still a few more moves bound to be made before the window completely closes and they will definitely include some shaking and dramatic twists.
