Last minute help before a exercise test? (swimming)?

Ok so I'm a good swimmer but I have to take my lifeguard test tom. and it's not bad but I'm going to have to really do my best and push myself more than I ever have before.

Is there any advice on things to eat or what to do to give me a boost for tom.?

  1. I've heard that you should have carbs. Personally, I like to have peanut butter, eggs, meat (protein). This will keep the body 'awake' so you can swim your best. Energy drinks WONT help. You'll just crash. Stay away from sugar, and fats/oils. Hope you swim your best!


  2. Carbs are good; have some pasta and bread. For breakfast, try to stay away from dairy products. Oatmeal (made with water, not milk) is good. Have an energy bar. Stay hydrated.
