Last-minute trip ideas for a week off work?

There's a cruise (the Norwegian Spirit) leaving out of Manhattan this Saturday and is returning this sunday, so you will have your week off of work. It's going to San Juan, the Dominican Republic, and Tortola(British Virgin Islands). You wouldn't have to fly or anything, just get somebody to drive and pick up from the port or drive yourself and leave your car there. Hope this helps and have fun with whatever you choose!

I'd recommend you to go to Massachusetts. It's near and offers a fantastic landscape and countryside, and seaside. You can rent a car to go there (gas is expensive, though). But if you want to travel outside US, Caribbean islands are perfect to get relaxed and escape from the stressful life in New York...Hope it helps.
