Last night, U18s club had cops arrest kids with drugs & caused an overdose. Should U18 clubs be banned in Syd?

This happened at Home Night Club in Darling Harbour (opposite IMAX). The event was called Submission Under 18's (http://homesydney.com/submission/).

I attended this even and I had no idea that this incident happened. A 17 year old girl ended up in hosptital from a drug overdose.

I read all of this in the 10th of July mX Newspaper.

Why don't these incidents get reported more !

Under 18 , will be just as vulnerable as any other

venue and people are kidding themselves if they

think different.

This is the kind of thing the police could attend and be

in the thick of it , to stop any of this taking place.

Too much enthasis in this country is given on

'After the Fact' bandaid measures, and as a Tax Payer

And parent ,........i would rather see my money go

on LOts of Cops been inside looking after our kids!

Whats available is getting on the phone when your

kid has nearly died and having another sad and

agreeing volanteer tell you 'oh i know love'

This is not good enough and is not a Solution, it

is an Insult to decent Parents who are going through

h**l !

No under 18's clubs should not be baned, but supervised closely by adults as are blue light discos. You say cops arrested kids and caused a overdose I hope that you are not implying that the cops caused the girl to take the drug(s) and overdose. cops not give kids drugs or make them take them, the girl chose to bring them chose to take them and must take responsibility for her own actions. I hope the cops arrest a lot of the kids, drugs are dangerous, illegal so good on the coppers that made the arrests
