Okay it wasn't last night but 1:55 in the morning.

I was laying in my bed watching "Generation Kill"( HBO series about Marines). When all of sudden I couldn't move . I was frozen no matter how hard I tried. I could still hear and see my movie going on. The next thing I know something comes over and shakes my bed. Then starts trying to pull me off. Then there is something else behind me pulling me the opposite direction back on the bed. It was over in about 5 minutes it was so scary.

  1. Maybe you should learn about the history of your house. Maybe something happened there.

  2. Oh thank goodness someone else has this happen.  That happened to me frequently and it always happened when I was lying in bed.  I swear I am awake since I can clearly hear and see everything around me except what is "moving me".  I can't move or talk or even scream, but something eventually shakes me or the bed around me.  Some one told me I had sleep paralysis or told me I should get checked for seizures.  Which I did, and they found nothing.  So now, I swear it's something else.

When it happens now a friend of mine told me to carefully light white tea light candles on fire safe platters around the room and the bed.  Sit quietly and calmly in the room until the candles burn down. (about 1/2 hour)  This should work.

    Good luck!

  3. phsycologists would say your probably just stressed. i dont think so. probably it might sound dumb but theres probably and evil spirit or some other thing that like this. im not superstitious but for all i know there cant possibly be a scientific explanation. seriously. as i said im not superstitious but as they say in some books its just the spirit of someone who died there.

  4. That sounds like a alien abduction to me.

  5. Perhaps your spirit guide was trying to help you with a bad spirit. You need to learn to astral project when that happens like I did, and kick his bad spirit @~~

  6. Actually, what you're describing is right in line with a form of sleep paralysis that I've actually experienced while someone else was in the room.

I'm not saying this is the only explanation, but it's one I consider possible.

  7. maybe you should get some more sleep.

  8. Well my dear it was no demon, because trust me you would know if it was and demon and what you describe was no were near a demon. It sounds like you were suffering from good olf sleep paralysis, since it was so late you may have been dosing off and while you were dosing off the time when you woke up, you mind woke up before your brain actually kicked in and you enter a "live" dream world, its a common phenomenon and nothing to worry about, its no demon, just your mind missing sleep.

  9. in the old days this was called an Incubus.  It was supposed to be a demon who would attack women in there sleep.  Supposedly the weight you feel on you is the demon... some women even claim to feel like they are being s*x. assaulted!!

Nowadays I think what you experienced is just a semi-concsious state... where your mind is maybe stuck between an asleep/ awake phase?  This happens to me alot, and to alot of other people-- and each time it happens it is REALLY SCARY!

And yes- the fact that you can "see" and "hear" things makes it even scarier.

But I think its normal, and that you are normal.  Sorry If i scared you with the incubus info!!! LOL

  10. Sounds like you could have had an encounter. Unfortunately, you can't judge a haunting based on one experience that only one person witnessed, so I would suggest putting up perhaps a camcorder and/or a digital sound recorder in the room where the encounter happened. See if you find anything. But if you are really concerned, I would wait a little while, do the camera thing and see if anything happens again. If so and you are still scared, call your local paranormal research team to investigate your home. They could help you get rid of your unwanted guest.

  11. i know SUM of wat ure saying ,ive never had anything that severe happen to me but ive had stuff kinda like tht happen, my head was grabbed once and i was pushed down my stairs another time!! maybe u could help me with my question!?

so glad i can relate with sumone!!

  12. WOW! Well if that's true then you need to start investigating the history of your house, It sounds like a poltergeist. First how old is your house? How long have you been living there? Is there turmoil in your house? Like constant fighting or arguments, abuse? Begin by investigating if there was any type of tragic death in the house, murder, suicide? Check with local papers and the police. Have you noticed anything strange around the house? Door's slamming shut? Pictures falling off walls? Cold spots? the feeling your being watched? Electric appliances turning on or off by them self? If you can't find anything unusual in the houses history then check the land were it was built, Usually Poltergeist/Ghosts want something, alot of time what appears to be an attack is them simply trying to get your attention. Your last resort is to seek the help of a parapsychologist. Good Luck

  13. Sounds like an Incubus to me. This reason to be very afraid. This is not a good thing have in your house. You need to investigate this further. 1925 was a year that a lot of these Demons were active. You see that was a period of great unrest still as it was not that long after the first world war. There were a lot of demonic sprits that were active because of mass death all around the world. The Incubus were particularly active as there were many widows to be attacked.

Or it could just simply be that you were between sleep and a conscious state. Your choice.

  14. It sounds like sleep paralysis to me too.

Typically you see and feel different - even shapes are seen, but you cannot move.

Your body has a method of turning off yor muscles so you don't act out your dreams, So this happened early in your case. For those that get it turned off late - end up sleepwalking.

Watching TV probably provided stimulus to one area, while the other aeas were shutting down to sleep, so your visual senses were more awake than the rest of you.

  15. Sounds like sleep paralysis. Maybe you fell asleep without realising? Or maybe you were just falling asleep. One of my friends experienced this and said it was the most terrifying experience she's ever had. Apparently once you tell someone about the dream, it will be passed onto you and you'll have it. She said it went something like this.

She fell asleep, on her back when all of a sudden she couldn't move. She felt a dark presence at the end of the bed, moving towards her body. She was unable to scream, and could only blink - that was the only movement she could make.

Scary stuff. Hasn't happened to me yet though.
