Last night I went to the casino...played a 25cent machine..was betting max @ 1st which is 20 credits..?

wasnt hitting anything..so i lowered my bet to 5..i hit 4 jacks... but didnt really think id won anything (silly me) til now ...can anyone calculate what i had won? im just curious if i shoulda cashed out:( ps i suck @ math :) thanks!

depends on the machine. different types of poker machines have different payouts. a deuces wild machine will only pay like 25 to 1, while a machine with no wild (iirc) pays 100 to 1. So, you won, on that one spin, maybe $25 or $100.

Oh, unless it was a jacks wild machine, in which case it's around 1000/2000 to 1.

It is nearly impossible to calculate slot machine odds. The simple reason is that they are controlled by a random number generator. Yes even the Poker ones. There are however, many theories, but none are truly effective. Just remember, slots are how casinos make their money. They generally payout less than 50% of the time. Also key: the house always wins. It's not just a saying.
