my screaming woke my boyfriend up who asked me what was wrong and my dog also came running in, i didn't respond at first, then i said there had been someone beside me, but then i couldn't tell if i was dreaming or awake, i looked up night terrors, but it couldn't have been that because i could remember what happened, and i could not sleep for the rest of the night, any suggestions?

  1. I would say this is definitely stress. It was probably a nightmare that you had and when you woke up it felt really real.

Try to do some relaxation before bed, read a nice book, or have a bath. Keep away from watching anything scary, etc.

If you continue to have this, I would see a doctor, just in case.

  2. Its just a little phase your going through probably...I woke up frequently screaming because something would always hit my lamp at the same time every night it seemed, however I was just dreaming.... But it felt sooooo real like one time i woke up and I had a rash around my forearm because i squeezed my arm so hard from thinking i was fighting off someone that was tring to get into my window(my lamp sits on my window) you will eventually phase out of them because i've known plenty of people that have gone through the same thing as you have and also some crzy stuff almost like poltergeist sh*t

  3. anxiety! i had the same problem! except it was at my door. i saw someone kneeling and it looked like they were taking something from my room! i jumped up(i was awake) and i was screaming and i thoughtit was my sister or soemthing.  its either anxiety or lack of sleep, but it really did look like it was a spirit or something

  4. That scared me. Now I am going to think that someone is next to me. Thanks! haha only joking. Just get close to your boyfriend and he should act as a "protector". If it happens again there are some things that you can eat or drink to help dreams

  5. Angels are a widely accepted concept in our culture. Many times, though we forget that there may be another side. Many people encounter demonic activity, or spirits and dont know what they are dealing with. If it happens again, try saying the name of "Jesus". Demons are scared at even the mention of His name. Find a trusted Pastor to consult with - one who is filled with the Holy Spirit and is familiar with Spiritual warfare.

  6. It very well could have been a dream...sometimes they seem really real. You don't seem worried that there actually was someone there, so I'd venture to guess that it was some sort of dream. If it happens again, I'd ask a psychologist about it and see what's up.

  7. the answer is obvious here.....

your conscious is telling you that someone is watching you while you are living in sin, sleeping with your boyfriend.  Get married, or get a room all to yourself.  Then, and only then will the strange visitors stop haunting you at your bedside.

  8. maybe there was someone or a ghost for real

but it could be a nightmare also

    i cnt tell u

    but good luck

  9. Could be a lucid dream. Last night Ä° was facing the window and it scared me. Ä° cant explain it.

  10. well all i can say is it was probably a dream...that happened to me once but it was about something alot different....you just have to think that if there really was a person you would have heard them leave because you would have scared them. and if you were screaming then if the person really was there they would have covered your mouth or something and unless your missing something or something happened to you then you dont have to worry...because whatever is there during the day is also there during the night

  11. Your boyfriend is playing tricks on you to drive you crazy. I can sense something about a kitchen drawer, maybe even a knife drawer.

  12. shouldnt be living with ur boyfriend anyway

  13. it could have been a dream..get a night light :D it could have been a shadow of something..or you could have actually been seeing things..theres endless options.

  14. I had a very similar thing happen to me. My hubby was out of town working, I was home with my new daughter. I was sleeping in my bed alone, I don't know why I awoke. I saw a man wearing a grey hooded jacket at the foot of my bed. The hood was pulled up, but I couldn't see a face. (I can still see it in my mind). I was scared and I didn't move for a very long time. I pretended to be asleep, I kept my breathing loud. I remember my throat was so dry, I couldn't swallow. I thought what am I going to do. I turned on my side for a second and then when I looked back... gone. Nobody was there. The man was gone. Was I imagining it? I had a male friend that had passed away sever years earlier, was it him. He often wore a grey hooded jacket. I don't know... I have no answers... I think about it still (obviously) and that was about 7 years ago now.
