  1. It is normal...get him dewormed

  2. Cats will bring presents to there owners throughout there lives its just part of having a cat

  3. my cats does the same thing. he/she thinks its doin its job.

  4. it thinks it doing its job but its actually litterly disgusting

  5. mine dragged a bunny in through her cat door two nights ago.

meowed for me to come look at her trophy. when i returned with a bag to dispose of it, she was dragging it back out her door.

had a cat let a bleeding bunny loose in the house once, now that was a mess.

friend of mines cat brought a snake into the house and let it loose. consider yourself lucky.

some think it means they like you, it is a present. others say they see you as the leader of the pride, and hunt for you. still others say it is because they dont see you hunt, so they think you are sick and bring you food.

it doesnt happen to me that often, mostly they leave a half eaten mouse on the door step. to share i guess.

if it happened all the time, i would try scolding kitty, bring mouse out side, then praise. he will soon realize you prefer your meals out side. just be sure to go out side and praise him when he calls you for dinner.

dont bother with a collar and bell, just makes it more fun for kitty. and he will hang himself on the collar.

welcome to the cat owners club. you are a probationary member. as soon as he barfs on your bed at 2 am, you will have full membership status.

  6. he was bring you a gift LOL its a cat that is what they do, why dont you try getting a toy mouse for the cat to play with.

  7. cats enjoy catching mice and other rodents and are rather proud when they catch one (as they are pet cats) so they usually tend to bring it into the house and show it to you or even give it to you so the best thing to do is to give your cat a collar with a bell (even if it hates them if you leave it on they get used to it after a day or so) so that they make a noise before they can get close to any mice and scold your cat every time it catches one and throw it out and completely ignore your cat for a while plus ignore the mouse as well :P

    Hope I helped :)

  8. Your cat loves you so much, that he is trying to make sure you are eating properly. I know that sounds weird, but that is the latest cat behaviorist thought.  You should feel great, knowing that your cat is so bonded to you!  (You could thank him by making him an inside cat . . . . he's not exactly the top of the food chain outside . . . )

  9. he is showing his love.

not #1 on your gift list, perhaps, but from a cat, it's his way of

    saying 'you're aces'.

  10. This is the most normal thing in the world for a cat to do.  Please don't take offense to this, but I kind of can't believe you're asking about this.  Cats kill mice... have you never known this?  Cats that are feral, stray, and barn cats eat the mice they kill, of course.  But house cats have a food supply - coming from you - so they don't need to eat the mice they kill.  So they present the mice to their families - maybe as a gift, and maybe to show that they could fend for themselves if they had to - that they're not totally dependent on you for their survival.

Either way, don't be upset about it... be glad... every mouse your cat kills is one less mouse you have to worry about coming into your house to build a nest.

  11. he's giving his master a gift.

my cat does it while we're on holiday

  12. he's bringing you a gift... it's entirely normal.
