Last summer was a bit cack, what are your predictions for this summer (heat-wise)??

In britain last year the weather was rubbish, we had a cracking april but the summer months were shocking, so make me happy and tell me this years weather is going to be a scorcher !!

Long range prediction is for almost tropical weather. We'll get 3/4 days of good weather followed by a storm.

Probably long hot, sticky and stormy and a lot of butterflies and ladybird and bubble bees etc.:)

I very much doubt it.

The long, scorching summers we used to have are a thing of the past, thanks to global warming. Our seasons are becoming less distinctive, ie. cooler summers and warmer winters, and our climate is slowly becoming more and more like a tropical climate, ie. wetter. We now have mosquitoes down South, which is an indication of the gradual climate change.

Weather in Britain will become more unpredictable, and characterised by extreme weather events. We're more likely to get an extreme heatwave, or a few, during summer instead of a continual season of nice, sunny weather. Winter will also become less cold, but more rainy, therefore we'll suffer more flooding. Rain will also become a characteristic of the summer as things eventually turn more tropical.

So we'll basically get all the rubbish sides of having a tropical climate - the heavy rain - without the good sides - hot temperatures.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news... My advice would be to emigrate. I intend to!

I think that we will be lucky if we even get a week of sun, i mean look at how the weather has been so far this year, not really the best has it.
