Question:

Last track meet Monday, running 660?

So we have our last track meet this Monday (3 days) and I'm doing hurdles, high jump, and the 660 (600). I'm so freaked out about the 660! I've ran it before and got first, until two girls came out of no where and beat me.

Can you tell me any tips on how to run it, or where to run the fastest? Things like that.

  1. first 200 fast, but nice and smooth and relaxed, then start pushing....by the last 100 when you're full of lactic acid and you feel like your legs wont go, keep pushing keep driving those knees and pumping those arms


  2. The first 400m really fast stride, and the 100m pick up the past but the and sprint all out straight away. Make sure to get a good start and if any girls tries to pass you keep up with them and don't let them pass you.
