Thanks

  1. Go to the Spreewald. It is so wunderfull there and you think you are in the fairyland. (Luebbenau is the center) Pls have a look on the link

  2. To Hamburg it's just 90 minutes by train. For timetables see http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.e...

    Hamburg info: http://www.hamburg-tourism.de/en/

  3. If you haven't done so already, do visit Potsdam. The town, and especially the palace are legendary, and it is the destination closest to Berlin, so the trip doesn't cost much time or money.

  4. Dresden is pretty cool and it's not too far. If you have the time and money, you should check out southern Germany because it's absolutely beautiful. Munich would be a really cool place to visit.

  5. go to the gas o metre

its very famous and its in essen

    enjoy =]

  6. Sounds like you didn't like Berlin!!!!!

So you can take train to Dresden, Leipzig. This places are near Berlin.

  7. Within one or two hours... check out Lübeck (ca. 2 hrs, Umsteig in Hamburg, which is probably the most overrated city in Germany, in my opinion), Potsdam (ca. 30-45 min), or Spandau (ca. 45 min).

Lübeck has a fabulous old city center and famous medieval gate, is close to the Baltic, has a ton of famous churches, has the Buddenbrookshaus and a museum of Guenter Grass's statues, there's a cool 1920's style marzipan cafe and museum (I don't usually like marzipan but this place is awesome), has a neat puppet museum, and there's an awesome little hostel near the city center too (http://freenet-homepage.de/rucksackhotel...

Potsdam has a ton of film studios, one of the most famous palaces in Europe (San Souci), and some cool old DDR research buildings.  You can get there easily on the S-bahn.

Spandau just has a ton of neato medieval stuff, plain and simple, and is a fun place to walk around for a while.  It's the end of the U-7 line.

Dresden's great, but depending on how much money you want to blow, may be a bit far away.  It would be easy to spend 4-5 days there and not get bored, but you can see the big stuff and go drinking in the funky Neustadt (which is actually older than the current Altstadt; there are a ton of awesome hostels there too) easily in 1-2 days.  Make sure to check out the Frauenkirche and just walk around with a camera.  A river cruise is a must, too.

  8. I like wojoz suggestion... go and have a nice self time and bask in the difference between countries...

    PS im jealous

  9. just talk a hike in the mountains or big hills by your self and relax .

  10. If you leave from Berlin, you can choose Dresden ,pretty cool or make a trip to the "Spreewald" or north to the "Müritz-Lakes".

    Have fun.
