  1. just 3 yrs ago a jockey jason oliver died during track work at ascot race track in perth australia, remarkable 3 weeks later hi older brother Damien oliver went on to win the melbourne cup one of the worlds great races, he saluted the skys  after he won, also there father also fell in a track fall


  2. No jockeys died in spills recently. Yes, it does happen but on rare occasions. Andrew Lakeman was seriously injured last May at Belmont Park. It was a horrible spill! He is paralyzed, and he went back to England to recover with his family. He did not die.

  3. Norberto Arroyo, Jose Santos were injured in a race, Jose bad enough to retire. Andrew Lakeman was paralyzed in an accident... BUT HE DID NOT DIE!
