Lastname search?

Hi, I live in Miami but I was born in Nicaragua. Several of my great grand parents…were from France, Spain, Lebanon and Gods knows where else.

I gather my French last name is something like Maragu or Maragua (if it helps he was an ambassador in Nicaragua).

My Lebanon last-name is Exteny but I can’t find it anywhere (since it was in Nicaragua they most likely spelled it wrong in my grandma birth certificate). But I know some one who knew him and still alive: Jose Ali Almansor (not sure if that’s how you spell it) he live in LA.

Please help me find my French last-name and the guy form LA (only need a number or something like that)

I don't know the answer, but I can throw out a few possibilities for the surnames (pronunciation help in parenthesis).

"Exteny" maybe it could be:

Esteneau  (es-ten-oh)

Estienne  (es-tee-yenn)

"Maragu" doesn't sound French to me...maybe it was:

Marque (mark)

Moreau/Moureaux  (mor-row)

Marais  (mah-ray)

Mauras  (moh-rah)
