Laszlo Cseh acquires Men’s 200m Individual Medley gold: Day two – 2012 Paris Open

Hungarian expert, Laszlo Cseh acquired gold medal of the Men’s 200m Individual Medley (IM) on day two of the 2012 Paris Open Swimming Championships on Saturday, July 7.
Cseh smothered his challengers with his unmatchable pace in the four-lap IM discipline as he went full throttle in the final round of the event. With his unrelenting efforts in the final round of the race, he cemented his place on the podium for the crown
of the event.
Cseh gained a commendable lead over his challengers throughout the event and tapped the finishing blockade for gold medal with the timing of 1 minute and 58.30 seconds.
His scintillating effort stayed almost four seconds ahead of Dmitry Zhilin of Russia, who proved his mettle for silver medal of the discipline by clocking a time of 2 minutes and 02.15 seconds.
The silver medallist was chased by Markus Deibler of Germany, who stayed 0.13 seconds apart and earned bronze medal of the event with the timing of 2 minutes and 02.28 seconds.
Fourth position of the discipline was secured by Sebas van Lith of Netherlands, who stayed 1.17 seconds apart and clocked an effort of 2 minutes and 03.45 seconds.
After that, the spectators experienced ruthless aggression of Camille Muffat in the Women’s 400m freestyle. Muffat remained considerably faster from her following swimmers over the finishing wall and posted a time of 4 minutes and 04.42 seconds for gold
medal.
With her laudable efforts, she remained 4.33 seconds faster from Coralie Balmy of France, who settled on the wall as second position holder by producing a time of 4 minutes and 08.75 seconds.
Third position of the discipline was obtained by Camelia Potec of Romania, who stayed almost 2.50 seconds apart and reported a time of 4 minutes and 11.20 seconds.
The bronze medallist was chased by Ophelie-Cyrielle Etienne of France, who stayed 0.62 seconds apart and ended fourth in the event by submitting a time of 4 minutes and 11.82 seconds.
The crowd acknowledged magnificent efforts of Cseh and Muffat in their respective disciplines while the position holders expressed happiness over their accomplishments.
