Late allergic reaction to strawberries?

My son is 13 months old and yesterday he got this nasty rash on his body (just the torso) I called the Dr and she asked the usual if he had anything different the only different thing he had was strawberry spread on toast but he has already had strawberries without a problem and there was nothing else out of the ordinary. I gave him the amount of benadryl she recommended and this morning I noticed the rash had gone down now again I noticed under his eye he is getting the same style rash. Do you think he could be getting a strawberry allergy even though we had already tested strawberries and nothing had happened? Today he ate a piece of those nutripals bars with strawberry on it that's why i'm wondering. I will be calling the dr tomorrow I was just wondering in the mean time.

  1. You can develop an allergic reaction at anytime to anything. It might be the strawberries. But only a doctor can tell.
