So last month I got AF on June 18 (with help from provera)and 5 days later I started 100mg of Clomid. Its now Cd 39 and I don't know what to think. I was told your suppose to have shorter cycles on clomid. I've take 2 HPT test(the last one on CD 35 and both came out negative. Now when I wipe there is a light pink discharge. Could this be implant bleeding(so late in the cycle) or AF finally make her grand entrance.

Let me know if your on clomid, the longest you waited for your period(especially on the first cycle

**If its not here by the end of the month, I'll make an appt to see my dr

  1. Hi there, most recently we're TTC#3 on 4th try, 1st cycle on Clomid 50mg cd5-9 cycle was 33 days and ovulated on cd16 but that was a chemical pregnancy. 2nd cycle again clomid 50mg but cd3-7 cycle was 31 days and ovulated on cd13, then 3rd cycle was a doozy on clomid 100mg cd3-7 and I skipped AF completely so maybe didn't ovulate on cd 16 like thought still don't know and cycle ended up being 60days, so now on 4th try on cd7 again on Clomid 100mg cd3-7. Clomid really doesn't shorten one's cycles, it's widely knnow to make ovulation happen later so lengthening the cycle is more likely. Have been on Metformin from the start too, so yeah it's just a wait and see game really, every one is so different.

You could f ovulated later in your cycle indeed, or being the first time on Clomid it's possible that maybe it wasn't a strong enough dose to work with you this time. A doc appt is the best way to go though to find out for sure. Good Luck

  2. I just got off a round of Clomid and I would say it's probably AF showing up since you've gotten negative's on your HPT's.  Clomid normally makes you ovulate later in your cycle (or so I've noticed) but I doubt implantation spotting would occur this late.  If you still do not get your period, you need to go and have blood work done.  Good luck!

  3. Hi there. have been keeping an eye out to see how you're getting on.

I am trying to concieve #2, we have a gorgoues 2 and a half year old boy, but I have been having problems this time around.

I am also CD39, and still having abdo cramping, sore bb's, and no AF to speak of. Took another hpt on CD 36, still negative!

Although I cant really help you in terms of the questions about clomid (this isnt something weve tried just yet) what I will say is that with my first I thought AF was here, as I had very scant spotting around week 5-6 of my cycle, and hadnt even thought I was pregnant. When that stopped after about 3 days and my cramps and bb tenderness was getting worse, I took a hpt and it was bfp!

So while I dont want to get your hopes up too much, I know myself that its always so nice to hear stories that lend themselves to letting you being able to hold onto hope for another few days....

Good luck honey, and let us know wont you?
