  1. I wouldn't be too concerned yet as it's only been four days.  Periods can s***w up for any number of reasons.  Are you taking birth control?  If you are using condoms only then it is possible that it may have broken.  And even if you are on the pill it is not unheard of that women get pregnant...usually though it's because they don't take the pill at regular intervals.  Sorry but if you've been having s*x you could be pregnant.  The only way to be 100% sure that you are not is not having s*x.  Since this is not an option for most of us condoms and other birth control should be used.  I don't want to sound preachy...hope this helps...

  2. No protection is 100%. There is the possibility that it failed (if you're using condoms, you probably would have noticed, but you didn't specify) and that you're pregnant. You may want to take a test to be sure.

However, have you been stressed out lately? Stress tends to throw off women's periods, as can other emotions.

  3. You mentioned that you haven't gotten sick, and haven't been on any new meds recently...but you didn't mention whether or not you've been under any kind of stress (aside from the "baby what-ifs").  You'd be really surprised how much little bit of stress will make your body's functions (especially reproductively) go out of whack.  When my wife and I were first dating, we had a "scare" like this...she was like clockwork as well..and it turned out that all her worrying about her entrance exam to law school made her cycle go haywire.  I'd bet money that stress is a BIG contributing factor here..but I could be wrong.  If you're truly wanting answers, buy a home pregnancy test to see what is going on (you may need to wait a tad bit longer to get a positive, if you are indeed expecting)..or you could make an appointment with an OB/GYN to have some bloodwork taken (a lot more reliable, especially in the earliest stages of pregnancy).  We're here for you if you need support.  Good luck.
