Sorry all ready posted this on womens health but didn't get many answers

I'm 15 years old and I had my last period 14th June, it's now 28th July and it still hasn't come...there's no chance of pregnancy as I'm a virgin. I've been regular since I started 2 years ago, why is it so late now? I was very stressed at the beginning of June because of exams, could that be it? although I have had a period since then. I'm getting really worried please help!

  1. It's probably just the exams that threw it, and now that you're worried about it, that isn't helping either.

Lots of things can throw your cycle out of kilter - anything involving stress, heavy exercise, illness, a change in diet, or simply worrying that it hasn't come. It'll be fine!

  2. Why be worried if you really are a virgin? The only thing you need to worry about is something, as in health, being wrong with your body, and if this continues, you should see a doctor immediately. But don't get stressed over this, it'll only make the situation worse.

  3. It's normal. The delayed maybe due to some factors like your stress.

  4. dont worry about it its normal . you said you just got your period 2 years ago ? oh yea your period is still developing. that happens like once in a year you miss your period for a month . simply because you just got it . i remember i got my period when i was 10 and untill i was 13 or 14 i learned my period was still developing so it's normal for me 2 miss a month in a year. hope i helped =]

  5. its perfectly normal exam stress doesnt help

  6. Hi ;) you are probably just having an irregular period. Don't worry too much about it. Exercising a lot, stress, eating disorders can cause this... Try to relax ;) it'll come.

(and yeah, probably related to the exams and the worriness you are feeling right now... relax!!! )

  7. Exams could definetly play a factor in it. Just relax and it should be here soon enough. It is common to be regular for a few years and then to get thrown off. If it is gone for more than like 3 months then you should go to a gyno to get a second opinion.

  8. Sweetie, sometimes your period just has a mind of it's own and it doesn't come lol...i know that happened to me a lot while i was in school.  Stress can affect your period in different ways and if it happenes another time tell your mom and there are medications that the doctor can give you to start your period back up again...he could also put you on birth control to regulate them...that's what my doctor ended up putting me on...and just because the doctor gives you bc doesn't mean that he/she thinks you are having s*x...they just help make your periods regular...i know it's a pain but hang in there and if you aren't having s*x then i wouldn't worry about it too much...(and enjoy the summer time without one...)

    PS

I never had one in the summer time until i turned 18!

  9. It is SUUUPER common for gals your age to have irregular periods, no worries! If they get really really wacky (you miss them for months in a row, they go on forever and are really heavy), talk to your doctor.  But what you are experiencing sounds totally normal to me.  Don't worry too much about it.
