  1. Bo Jackson was only drafted in the 7th round because he went pro in baseball and preferred it to football.

  2. Tony Romo was not even drafted

  3. T.J. Houshmanzadeh, Marques Colston, Kris Dielman for a few

  4. Actually Bo Jackson was originally the first overall pick in the 1986 NFL Draft, but he decided to play for the KC Royals because they had been the champions the year before. Plus he didn't want to go to the team that drafted him, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, because they intentionally cost him his eligibility for baseball at Auburn by taking him on a private jet to talk. When the hammer dropped and he was declared ineligible the Succaneers told him it was either baseball or football and he had to make a choice. So he played baseball for a year and dropped back into the 1987 NFL Draft eventually being picked up by the Raiders in the 7th Round.

There was a player drafted in the 14th round of the 1961 NFL Draft out of Mississippi Vocational. He was pretty good...his name was Deacon Jones. Ever heard of him??
