Lately, have the Del taco fries tasted uncooked?

Been going to Del taco for years, and in the last 6 months the fries have tasted like c**p. They taste like they haven't been cooked all the way through.

I just experienced this too! I used to go to del all the time when there was one where i lived.  I moved and we just now got one and the fries were not what i remember at all??? they were white, literally. not even a hint of brown.

They are using vegetable fat instead of animal fats in their fryers. This makes the fries taste that way. It's also healthier, although you don't get that yummy fatty taste that we all have come to love. It's less greasy, but salt doesn't stick as well, and they taste rather bland. I

yeah, i have noticed this too. they taste all starchy and soggy. You can ask for them crispy and they will cook them longer. When they are a little brown they are way better. hmmm, maybe i will get some for lunch. im hungry now :)

Maybe it's just your store. Ask them to cook the fries a little longer for you.
