Lately I've been dreaming of..........

Lately I've been dreaming of my Dad. He passed away in 1989. I've had three dreams about him this week. The first one was the whole family was around at the park and he was alive. In my second dream I had to tell my sister that Dad had died. It was awful!. In the third dream me and my mom were at the cemetery, but we couldn't find his grave. What do these dreams mean?

It probably means you miss your dad. maybe your dad is trying to talk to you through dream. You should visit his grave every once in awhile he probably needs a good visit every once in awhile like clean up around his grave and put flowers on the grave.

First one about him and the family was around suggests that you subconsciously feel that his existance is being important and in translation,  you have some denial in life.

Second one about telling your sister has died.  That is some guilt and regret conscience in you. Telling your sister had died is a symbol way to confirm your unbelief or denial.

Third dream about not finding his grave also suggests you are feeling some denial and in it, you also feel lack of control and helpless.

Your dad may seem like an important role in you and you are feeling the need to have assurance in life and you vent out all your feelings in dream.
