Lately ive had really bad sleep. any one got any cures?

lately ive had terible sleep. been up to about 2am trying to get to sleep.

any ideas to cure my bad sleep

  1. try sleeping sumwhere different- i always find if i sleep in the same place too long i cant sleep

  2. First of all, ask yourself why.

    Herbal remedies often help - but are you on any form of medication?

    If you're taking anything else AT ALL, call the doc and at least check that your over-the-counter remedy is compatible with your scrip stuff.

    Then go to a reliable health store and ask for advice.

    Booze doesn't help much, you only wake up early with a sore head.

    Flower remedies are good, but you need to talk to someone who knows what they're doing.

    Yoga, tai chi or meditation can help you relax, is there a class near you?

    Meanwhile - try to identify what's causing the problem and fix that. If a couple of weeks' natural treatment doesn't work, you need to see a professional and get it sorted out.

  4. Don't ask me why this works but it does!!  A mug of warm milk( or soy milk if you prefer)  with honey and nutmeg. About a level tsp of nutmeg and a squeeze of honey.

    I had real trouble sleeping at one point and my mother told me to try this.  I know the warm milk is conventional but I think I read that nutmeg in large enough doses is a sedative so that might be it.

  5. you can get melatonin supplements at walgreens or cvs.

  8. Usually a nutritional supplement mixture of calcium and B12 will help you sleep.

    Be sure the calcium you take is plant based not mineral based like TUMS or other anti acid.
