Later on in life?

later on in life when im older, got a good kob, a house and a hubby!... i want to adopt a baby girl from china, (no im not doing it because of angelina jolie..ive allways wanted to since i was real young..when i learnt about china in school) i live in the UK btw!

the reason i said later on in life is because im 18 and still at college lol, so i want to adopt when im older and that lot!

just wondering....

how long roughly does it take for EVERYTHING to be done, be it paper work, flying out there visiting and all the other stuff i know you have to be inspected or what not to make sure your not some sort of child killer, but was wondering roughly how long it takes, years? months? and would i beable to adopt a new born? so me and my future hubby could bring her up together as our own? please dont answer saying im too young..as i know i am right now, but i mean for in the future when im bout 30... thanks in advance!

The processes in China, and maybe even the US, may be radically different in 12 years. They have already changed just in the last few years. Knowing the current data will not really help you when you're 30.

Just concentrate on your schooling, making a wonderful life for yourself and then start researching when everything is set to bring a child into it.
