Latest Airport Strike?

Question

Ok so im supposed to fly from Newcastle on the 30th August to Florida,it's a family holiday and we've all been really looking forward too it.But i heard the news last night that there is going to be a baggage handler's strike on the 25 August and 29th August(A day before my departure)And to be honest...Im shitting!

Should I be worried about this,will they have it sorted out in the 12 remaining days and most of all..will i get to Florida?

I am going to Florida on the 26th from Gatwick (the day after a strike) and to be honest we aren't worried about it.  We are just going to get there a little earlier to make sure everythings okay.

It is only affecting certain airlines so you might want to check on the airports website to see if it does affect you
