If those are the lastest rankings then what a joke!!!! South Africa played 17 tests in total this year, including the RWC games. They had mixed results in the UK and lost 3 out of 4 tests in the Tri-nations this year, being beaten by the All Blacks on both occasions. Yes, that's right, they haven't beaten us this year. We had 2 losses all season, AND IT WASN'T THE SPRINGBOKS!!!!! Apparently, the IRB, for the RWC, doubled the points in the ranking system they use just for the cup. They can have their world cup and rankings. The results show we are still the best team on performance over the season.
