Latin gave way to... More h**l.?

Question

1. Francais, Espanol, Italiano. They all lost Latin's declension system and were instead buffered by a pronoun/preposition grammatical h**l (as bad as Latin, but in different ways).

I know what you're saying.  When dealing with prepositions and the such instead of cases, they can almost be applied ambiguously; there is seemingly less logic, and many constructions have to be memorized in place of learning case endings.
