Latin translation - please help :(?

I having difficulties translating this section from The Annals.

"tum Seneca contra muliebres inlecebras subsidium a femina petivit et Acten libertam inmisit quae anxia nuntiaret incestum a gloriante matre pervulgatum esse, nec milites imperium profani principis toleraturos esse."

"Seneca saught help from a woman against feminine charms...." Then I get lost.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot!

    That's the best I can do, I'm afraid. It's alway hard to translate out of context, especially Latin.
