What is the third person singular present tense form of the verb "studeo"?

Also, this verb does mean study (as in to study a subject), correct?

  1. Assuming you mean active voice and indicative mood it would be studet. It means to be eager for/desire/give attention to/etc..

  3. "Studet" is the 3rd person present indicative of studeo,studere. This verb has different meanings and one of them is "to study". On the other hand English verb "to study" and the word student both derive from studeo.
