After being put to the sword by a rampant Stoke City side last week, the Swans will now play host to Reading on Saturday.
With the international break set to commence following this weekend’s action, the Dane was of the opinion that it was crucial his team brought to a halt their dismal sequence of results.
According to the manager, failing in doing so will add extra pressure on them when they return from the break, and termed the game as one of the most important ones of their season.
“The next game is always important, but this time that really is the case. In my experience as a player and as a manager, there are moments in a season where you can't just say that this game is important, because you say that always,” he said.
“I think there are three or four games during a season which are more important than normal important games, and I think the first one for us is on Saturday.”
