The boss at the Liberty Stadium has expressed his contentment over the Swans achievements halfway into the season.

Laudrup, who took over the Swansea reins in June following Brendan Rodgers departure, unravelled his satisfaction over what has transpired for him thus far at the club.
He admitted that their tally of 25 points halfway into the season was something which he had not expected, but praised his side for delivering results despite losing score of their star players in the summer.

“We have 25 points. We have a plus four goal difference and we have one of the top scorers in the league (in Michu) I think we can be very pleased.”
“Twenty-five points is more than I thought we would have at this stage, given half the starting XI have been new players to the club who have had to adapt.”

The manager warned his side not to congratulate themselves as yet, as there was still a long way to go in the season. He also admitted that his prime goal was to reach the 40 points mark, in order to guarantee their survival in the English top-flight.
