Swansea City manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Scott-Sinclair-c32675, but was open to the possibility of losing him to the Eastlanders this summer.
According to some reports, the Premier League title holders are contemplating preparing a bid for the prolific forward, as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 looks to add extra firepower to his attacking options.
Even though Swansea have played down the rumour of being approached by City for the player, some inside sources have confirmed the Eastlanders strong interest in him.
Nonetheless, the 48-year-old Dane unravelled that he was not aware of any developments being made on the subject of the winger’s transfer, and only read the rumours related to him in the newspapers.
He indicated that he had a little chat with Sinclair recently, and was planning on holding a detailed meeting with him again in the coming days to discuss his future.
While talking to reporters, he said: “I really don't know whether Manchester City want Scott. I don't know if there has been a real offer — I have only read the papers like everyone else.”
“I have just had a little chat with Scott and I will talk to him again in the next few days.”
Although Laudrup vowed to put up a fight in keeping the 23-year old at the Liberty Stadium, he admitted that there would be very little he could do if he himself decides to part ways with the Welsh club.
Meanwhile, the manager was upbeat about his team’s chances of emulating their last season’s heroics all over again, and felt that the newcomers will be able to fill the shoes of the players who left during the summer.
He particularly set high expectations with Danny Graham and Michu, and claimed that the former can go on and score up to 20 goals in the coming campaign.
“Look at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Danny-c10193 Graham and Michu — I think we can expect a lot from them this season. I don't know what Danny's record is, but I think that if he keeps fit, he could score between 15 and 20 goals in the Premier League.”
