Laugh Out Loud, the most credible candidate for the Qipco 1000 Guineas Stakes (British Champions Series) (Fillies) at Newmarket

An exceptionally remarkable line-up for the Group 1 Qipco 1000 Guineas Stakes (British Champions Series) (Fillies) will compete at Newmarket over a mile on Sunday, 6th May. The purse set for the race is £213,513.
There are several entries on the race card who have already won at Newmarket but in the case of majority of the candidates it was during the previous season.
An outstanding contestant for the race is Laugh Out Loud, Clodovil’s three-year-old grey filly out of mare, Funny Girl. She has been active thrice during her debut season and had improved incredibly through the starts.
Her career debut was in the Wolverhampton – The Black Country’s Only Racecourse Maiden Stakes on 20th January at Wolverhampton over seven furlongs.
She missed the opportunity by a mere head’s difference from the winner of the race, Roedean, who was paired up with Franny Norton for the race.
Laugh Out Loud was accompanied by Chris Catlin and was soon joined by Falcon’s Reign.
The 2/1 favourite of the race, Baileys Strider, ended fifth on the line-up of nine runners.
Not waiting for very long to post a win, the three-year-old dominated the very next start in the 32Red Casino Median Auction Maiden Fillies’ Stakes on 16th February at Kempton over a mile. She was entered as the ½ favourite of the race and led
the runner up, Play Street, by a staggering ten lengths while riding with Chris Catlin.
Settling third behind the winner was Macy Anne.
The third career chance presented itself on 7th April at Kempton over a mile in the Betfred “When Both Teams Score” Fillies’ Conditions Stakes. Laugh Out Loud did not get entered as the favourite for a second time but she did stamp the race with
William Buick onboard.
She took charge of the final length and had Way Too Hot finishing the closest.
Witnessed, the 3/1 favourite of the race, finished sixth on the track of ten.
The filly is up for the fourth outing of the season and has all the chances of striking a hat trick. She has not raced at Newmarket before and besides that she will be riding with Gerald Mosse for the first time too.
How will the new race course and jockey impact her performance will come out in the open soon.
