Launch cast "Error 14 We are sorry, the layer encountered an eror streaming your music. Anyone have any ideas?

Juke box not working either and tech support has basically told me that they cannot help me. I really enjoy my streaming music over the holidays.

  1. I assume tech support told you to install WMP 11.  If not, try it.

    This may sound silly, but try using a different Yahoo id (if you don't have one, just create a new one).  If you feel that tech support has not given their all and they give up, I would try to find a telephone number and complain to a supervisor.  Also, if you can find an email address for Yahoo! Customer relations, file a complaint.


  2. What worked for me was reinstalling Yahoo Messenger (which is my main Launchcast).  My computer wouldn't let me rollback the Windows Media Player so I reinstalled 11 as well, but I really think reinstalling the messenger is what did it.
