Laundromat? Spa? Clothing Store? Which one would be better to own?

Question

I am currently working as a teaching assistant in an urban neighborhood in NYC. I am dissatisfied and am thinking of opening my own business. I was originally thinking of opening a daycare center, but I'm not so sure I want to be around children anymore.

What businesses do you think have the least risk? If anyone owns their own small business, please share how you started up, your pro and cons.

Were would you be opening the store? Laundromats are turn key businesses, you won't spend much but you won't make much.

Clothing store, to much to worry about with robbery.

Spa, good money if it's successful, but alot of health code rules.
