Laundry crises, what should I do?

I've got three friends: Carmen, Bee and Lena, and we've been close all our lives (our mothers met each other when pregnant at an aerobic class for pregnant women). Once Carmen bought pant - jeans - at a second hand shop, we accidentally tried them on, liked them and decided to use them as a symbol of our friendship. We established a wearing routine, and certain rules, for example, no one can keep them for more than one week, and they can't be washed. Now we've been using them for three years - summers mostly - and I feel like I'd like to wash them (they stink). But we solemnly agreed and swore never to do it. Is there a way to clean them without washing and without my friends noticing? Or should I just wash them and then wear them? What should I do?

Other than that, I think you should just spray some perfume on it. And if that doesn't work, ....WASH IT! Doesn't matter what your friends say, just WASH IT.

Ha!! I just read the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants yesterday. DON'T wash them, PLEASE!!!
