am confident that what Mrs. Bush means is that because her husband is the one that sent our troops to war that all these deaths are on his conscience, and therefore, hers.  Those of you out there that like to or feel the need to "throw rocks" are beneath contempt.   As someone who was in the military.  My dad served in Viet Nam and was spat on and jumped by supposedly "peace loving hippies" in a park in front of his son, his wife and newborn daughter.  Both of my grandfathers served in WWII.  One of them died in a POW Camp after the Bataan Death March.  You people out there need to wake up and try doing something like remembering 9/11!  These terrorists were there long before President Bush or his dad, or Clinton, or Reagan came to be president.  There is NO REASONING with these people.  They are taught to hate us, Christianity, Judaism, and Europe and the USA since the day they are born.  You should be thanking God for giving us a president that is willing to accept the burden of sending our soldiers into harm's way to protect you and your right to be free and say whatever you want, no matter how ignorant and self centered it may be.

that remark from her is very egocentric.  it shows that her focus in on the her family's feelings versus the hundreds of thousands who actually had to go to Iraq and/or live there.

like most people, it is all about themselves.  i don't think she thought the remark through before making it.  there is no way she feels worst than a loving mother who has lost children in Iraq.
