Laurent Blanc has vowed to continue with his footballing philosophy against the title-holders in the quarter-finals of the European Championship. The Frenchman has stressed that his side will attack Spain and defensive approach is out of context.

While talking to reporters, Blanc revealed that he and other coaches have watched Spain’s group games and teams like Croatia and Italy caused several problems for the champions in their matches.

Dismissing the idea of opting for a defensive approach against Spain, Blanc stated that Spain are one of the best teams in the world and to stop them from scoring is a big ask. France do not have players of that capability who can stop La Roja from scoring
in the match so the best way to beat Spain is in their own game, and that is to attack them from the very start.
