The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 manager gave his first press conference in Donetsk last night and spoke about the club’s defensive situation and also about Samir Nasri who has been criticised a lot in recent times
Yesterday, the French team arrived in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032 to set up their base camp in Donetsk. Les Bleus are now ready to start their Euro 2012 campaign and will be hoping for a better campaign than last time around.
Since the end of the domestic calendar, manager Laurent Blanc has had a lot of time to further implement his philosophy during the national team’s friendlies. Those games have showed that the French defence is still far from a solid pairing.
Blanc has preferred pairing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adil-Rami-c3639 with Philippe Mexes. However, despite having great seasons, the duo has not been able to give a single flawless showing which is a cause for concern.
However, Blanc says that it is hard for every manager to find a balanced side especially if it becomes necessary to make defensive changes every now and then. Though the Cevennes native admits that the defence has not given a lot of satisfaction, everything
should not be question.
“In building a team, if you leave everything on a question, you keep changing your team all the time.”
Trusting on the defensive duo, Blanc also wants reassurances about his defensive midfielder. The former Bordeaux coach chose to take Yann M’Vila, Blaise Matuidi and Alou Diarra. However, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Blaise-Matuidi-c7681 was already injured before the final selection while
M’Vila twisted his ankle.
In the last game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alou-Diarra-c5259 picked up a knock which means that for now, Les Bleus don’t have a single defensive midfielder which is a cause for concern.
However, Blanc is optimistic that they will be fit before the team’s campaign starts.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360 has attracted a lot of criticism in the last few months especially because of his performances with France. However, Blanc says that the Manchester City man is progressing and will do well.
“Samir is in progress, he can still do much better. He plays right wing and never impresses in your opinion, but do not worry, we know all this.”
The coach knows what he is doing but it still remains to be seen if he can lead Les Bleus to the top.
