As the FFF show aloofness in offering him a new contract, France national team manager Laurent Blanc is ready to sign for a club before leaving for Poland-Ukraine for the European Championships with Les Bleus
What will become of Laurent Blanc? This is the question that comes to every Les Bleus’ fan following France Football Federation’s reluctance to offer the former World Cup winner a new contract with the national side.
With the president of FFF Noel La Graet, Blanc has never really enjoyed the best of relations which is certainly one of the main reasons why Blanc is also not looking forward and expecting a new contract.
Reports in earlier weeks claimed that Graet was looking to offer Blanc a contract with the national side but Blanc denied those rumours.
Though FFF are not really appreciative of Blanc’s efforts in reviving the national team, there are numerous European clubs who see what the Frenchman has done with the national side. The likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan are keen on offering the former Bordeaux
coach a contract.
While talking to reporters, the former France international admitted that it felt good to be appreciated by big clubs and said that his first goal will always be to guide France in the European Championships.
“It’s always gratifying to be appreciated by the big clubs. My goal is Euro. I am completely in this competition.”
Laurent Blanc then went on to admit that he could sign for a club before leaving for the Euro 2012 this summer. The Frenchman says that though he intends to be a France coach for a long time, he said that he will wait.
“Yes, my intention is continue with team France. I have not changed my mind. But the situation is that I have not been extended yet.”
President Noel Le Graet says that he is appreciative of how Blanc has dealt with the situation and said that he would want http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 to have a successful Euro 2012.
“I’m the boss. To be a boss, it is not stupid to show authority but a president must be effective and should not be an authoritarian. I appreciate Laurent Blanc’s behaviour and there are no differences.”
