Laurent Blanc to hand Maxime Gonalons Les Bleus debut - Ligue 1 news
Young Olympique Lyonnais midfielder Maxime Gonalons could be in line for his first senior team cap for the France football team after Les Bleus coach, Laurent Blanc was impressed by the 22-year-old’s rapid rise in the Lyon ranks.

The youngster has impressed a lot of people with his performances for Olympique Lyonnais this season and the midfield enforcer has done well in filling the void left by former Lyon man Jermey Toulalan who left for La Liga side Malaga in this summer’s transfer
window.
Gonalons is a product of the Lyon youth academy and made his debut at the age of 19 for Les Gones as a substitute for Toulalan in a Champions League game against Anderlecht in 2009. Since then, the youngster has made 38 appearances for the Rhone giants and
has done well in slotting in as a defensive midfielder.

who has shown his tendency of giving a lot of chances to Lyon’s academy players this season.
