Laurent Blanc to use upcoming friendlies as a test for fringe players - France football news

France sealed qualification to the finals of Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine after they topped their group following a 1-1 draw at the Stade de France against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bosnia-and-Herzegovina-c2856.
Les Bleus will now face the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/United-States-c3034 and Belgium in two international friendlies where coach Laurent Blanc is looking to give chances to those players who are yet to play in active part in the French colours.
On Friday, France will play against USA and on Tuesday, Les Bleus will lock horns with a talented Belgium side. On February 29, 2012, team France will play against traditional rivals Germany and Laurent Blanc is looking to use all three games to get the
best out of the fringe players before he announces his team that will play the European championships which are co-hosted by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032.
Though there are still three games left before the final squad announcement, Blanc reckons that there is still a lot of hope for some of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899’s less-fancied players to inch their way into the squad.
While talking to the media, the former Bordeaux coach said that he is looking to use the three friendly games as a chance for young players and those players who were not able to shine during the qualification campaign.
“We’ll give them a run against USA and if they do well, they will be able to follow it up against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Belgium-c2850. I’ll be able to make six changes per match, so I can go easy on some players who are already suffering from fatigue,” said the French tactician.
Blanc admits that though Euro 2012 is still months away, his team still hasn’t got much time. Blanc emphasised the point that the upcoming friendlies against USA and Belgium would be the only time when the squad would stay together for eight days as his
side will then have just two and a half days to prepare for the friendly against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904.
However, Blanc admitted that he is ready to see some pleasant surprises from the tinkering and has asked all his players to cut loose in the upcoming fixtures in order to increase their chances of making it to the final squad.
