After the recent controversy regarding France manager Laurent Blanc and France Football Federation President, Noel Le Graet, Laurent Blanc has said that he will do things for Les Bleus the way he has done since the beginning and also wants an extension
The recent controversy regarding France Football Federation president, Noel Le Graet and Les Bleus manager Laurent Blanc has certainly put a lot of pressure on the latter. Le Graet does not want to extend Laurent Blanc’s contract beyond the European Championships.
This summer, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032 will be hosting Euro 2012 and France national team, after a good qualifying campaign are favourites to lift their second European Championship of the millennium. However, the controversy could prove to be the national team’s
bane.
Le Graet is not pleased at how Laurent Blanc has spent money on the technical staff. Blanc says that he was asked to choose people but it was not him who tailored their salaries. Blanc further points out that if France aspires to be considered as a footballing
power, they need to spend money on technical staff like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 have done over the years.
However, despite all these accusations, Blanc wants to lead Les Bleus in the future. Blanc says that whatever happened between him and the president should not go beyond anyone else.
“I wish to be extended before the Euro. The president has a different opinion. The next interview you do is I suggest, should be with the president. After http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/South-Africa-c757, everyone agreed, and the media was the first to say, ‘we are under construction, we will
go back on a sound footing’. But six months later, everything was forgotten.”
Blanc then blamed media and many people related to football for looking for a controversy. Blanc went even as far as suggesting that Le Graet and he were two characters reminiscent to Cevennes and Breton which helped media add more fuel to the fire.
The people from these two regions never get along well and media played this to their advantage. The issue certainly needs to be sorted out soon as it may well unhinge http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899’s Euro 2012 campaign and the build up to that.
