Laurentiis urges the fans to remain grounded and reveals Lavezzi transfer saga: Serie A news
Napoli President, Aurelio De Laurentiis, has urged the fans to remain grounded after their 3-1 win over A.C Milan in a Serie A encounter on Sunday, September 18th, 2011.
The Azzurri moved to the top of the league table with the win after having collected maximum points from their opening two games. Laurentiis is extremely happy with his team’s performance against the Italian Champions but warns
the fans not to get over excited.
The Patron admitted that the win against Milan will lay the platform for the rest of the season and will do world of good to his team’s confidence. The 62-year-old believes that the fans always ask for more and has promised them
that he will try his best to keep them happy.
Laurentiis also thanked the fans for their support and admitted that the club owes them a lot for their support and generosity to come see them playing week in and week out.

The President also took time to comment on the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ezequiel-Lavezzi-c13073 summer transfer saga and revealed that the player’s agent asked him to put a release clause in the Argentine international’s contract. Laurentiis rejected the agent’s
suggestion and told him that every player has his price and if Napoli get the right offer, they will let him leave.
The Partenopei side will now travel to Verona to take on Chievo in their next league game on Wednesday, September 21st, 2011.
