Lavally Pine all set to win The Shannon Hughes 16th Birthday Race at Sheffield
Lavally Pine’s qualifying efforts have been quite encouraging and thus, a chance can be taken on him in the Shannon Hughes 16th Birthday Race, a 500 metres flat race, taking place at Sheffield on Tuesday, July 3rd. The Grade A3 event carries a
handsome cash prize of £89 and will be kicked off at 22:09 (GMT).
Lavally Pine recently made four brilliant trial outings, emerging as triumphant on every occasion. After three wonderful trips over 500 metres, E. Parker’s charge stepped down to 280 metres and displayed an equally good show.
After a few outstanding journeys, Archaton Pine’s son is brimming with confidence and despite the fact that he will be under some pressure on his debut, he has a fine chance of winning.
The novice is geared up to face some big names including Tamara, Run Royal, Whinmoor Pixie, Demis Dino and Lisdrum Sally.
Tamara needs just a slice of luck to do business tonight. The black b***h was runner-up in her last three appearances over 500 metres. After narrowly missing the crown thrice, P. Sanderson’s trainee is determined to bounce back.
However, she will have to do something special in order to break the shackles. It will be interesting to see how she handles things after three unlucky rides.
The odds are reflecting the promise Run Royal showed in the recent trials. The black b***h made two winning outings before finishing second behind Lethal Roy last time out.
Whinmoor Pixie is expected to struggle tonight. Since the black b***h is really bad form, she does not have any chance whatsoever. Lisdrum Sally normally remains sluggish from the traps and we don’t expect her to do anything different tonight.
In her previous race, the black b***h was fifth behind Russanda Ritz at the end of last month. Demis Dino’s hopes of catching the judge's eye look slim, as she was not impressive in the recent trials.
Tamara looks to be the safest option for betting following her consistent run over the past few weeks. Yet, it will be a good decision to support Lavally Pine, who is well prepared to make a winning debut. We wish the best of luck to all the runners.
