Law and Order fans: where you disappointed by how the Nicole Wallace character was killed?

After all the time and build-up given the Nicole Wallace character, she makes a few appearances and then is killed off-screen by and not even by Goren (sorry if this is a spoiler for anyone!). I found this very disappointing, I really wanted a tough final battle between her and Goren! Was anyone else disappointed?

The entire season was one of lawlessness and disorder.  It is time to say goodbye, so long and good riddance to this tired show.

yes i was . i was glad that old man is going to get nailed though. he was awful.

She was a great villian of the show, so yea i am sad that she got killed off. But who knows what the future of the will hold :)
