I am 24 years old Sri Lankan girl who is willing to travel Italy for work holiday visa on April. I am looking for a budget accommodation in Milan, Italy. A room in a hostel, cheep guest house will be ok. Can any body give me a rough idea how much will I have to pay per a day / per a month to stay in that kind of place? And also would be great if you can give me a rough idea on how much I have to spend per a month including traveling, food, and transportation in law budget.

And also I would like to know, what sort of temporary & seasonal work I can find in Italy in April.

Grazie

  1. I would recommend going through Youth Hostels International for a place to stay. I don't specifically remember the one in Milan, but Italian hostels in general are some of the best in Europe. You can probably count on about 20 Euros a night, since April isn't high tourist season. (Lucky you!) Breakfast is included, and nearly all hostels have kitchens, so you could cook for yourself. If you shopped at the supermarket you really wouldn't have to spend much. Guest houses would probably serve dinner as well, but you should call to make sure.

  2. Try the Eurohotel ,it has a very nice price including breakfast.
